Students practice a variety of skills in their cardio phlebotomy courses, including performing EKGs, drawing blood, controlling infections, fundamental patient care, and more. Our Medical Office Specialist program prepares students to become an important member of the healthcare team, ensuring that medical offices operate smoothly and efficiently. Students completing medical office training learn a variety of essential medical office tasks, such as recording vital signs, patient intake, charting, collecting laboratory specimens, oral medication, and more. While enrolled in the medical office program, students prepare for numerous healthcare industry certifications including Certified Medical Administrative Assistant*, Certified Billing and Coding Specialist*, and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist*.
